Characters: Cordelia and Noel

Cordelia + Noel Divjued-

            Cordelia was born the second twin. Her elder brother, Noel, is about 15 minutes older than her. If she had been born any later she would have been born on a different day than him. Her parents only expected one child and were pleasantly surprised to receive two, especially since Noel was meant to be their only child ever due to complications throughout the pregnancy. Cordelia was a welcomed surprised though they did not have enough room and the twins were forced to share a room until they were three when, by some miracle, their mother got pregnant again.

            They moved shortly after the birth of their younger brother, Marcel. The twins had separate rooms and Noel shared a room with Marcel once he was old enough to move out of their parents` room. The siblings got along oddly well in their early childhood, trouble did not stir until Cordelia and Noel were about six years old. It was in that age after the death of their hamster that Cordelia discovered her abilities.

            At the hamster`s funeral, after the other family members dispersed, the twins were left sobbing over the pets grave. Noel attempted to calm his younger, more expressive twin reassuring her there was nothing they could do. Cordelia would not take this and in her frustration and anguish over the lost pet she unlocked her ability. She started to piece together the half eaten hamster, attacked by their brother`s cat, by breaking apart surrounding matter into its smallest form. Of course it failed, but even in its failure and as she stopped it in her panic it was too late, the damage was done. Her brother wailed beside her in pain, sprawled out across the ground and gripping his legs which bled heavily.

            They rushed him to the doctors but the muscles had been all but completely destroyed. He never fully healed and to this day he either uses forearm crutches (due to his stubbornness) or is stuck in a wheelchair. Somehow this has made the twins closer rather than strain their relationship. Cordelia is often consumed by guilt, but Noel does not let her let the guilt consume her, noting that he still uses it against her. Noel often convinces Cordelia to do things she normally would not do since he cannot do them as easily himself ranging from rock climbing to sky diving or snorkeling with sharks.

Age- 16

Place of Birth- Old Town, Maine

Date of Birth- June 5, 2000

Height- 5’6” (Cordelia) 5’8” (Noel)

Weight-  Both around 128 pounds, Noel weighing a little less due to his legs

Appearance- Both have sandy colored hair, Cordelia`s falling about shoulder length with a slight waviness to it, while Noel keeps his hair short. Cordelia`s eyes are ocean blue where Noel`s are blue grey.

                        Cordelia- Her frame is built a bit smaller besides some pudge over her stomach and clinging to her cheeks. Her nose is sharp and small and her eyebrows hold the pale shade her hair had been at birth so they are almost impossible to see. She is decently fit thanks to all of Noel`s request and dotted with small scars here and there from her adventures, the biggest across her right side reaching almost from hip to bottom rib due to a nasty fall.

                        Noel- His arms have defined muscles from the effort of moving himself around as he is stubborn and will not use his wheelchair unless he absolutely has to. His features are as sharp as his sister`s and lacks the fat and muscle to hide that so they appear more defined. His legs are very thin, the skin clinging to the bone, actually sinking in a little between the tibia and fibula. His eyes are warm despite their shade and he has an inviting smile.

Abilities-

                        Cordelia- She can manipulate bone and deconstruct matter into its smallest form to reconstruct instinct organisms around their fossils but for some reason can only reconstruct instinct species of plant and animal. Her bones will not break (which can be good and bad) unless she purposely makes them do so.

                        Noel- None, though he has a store of secretes and other information if he needs to use them

Strengths-

                        Cordelia- Her abilities are strong if she would work with them more. She is good with people, not manipulating them but actually interacting. She is difficult to get to due to her ability to manipulate bone instinctively. 

                        Noel- He is great at understanding and interacting with other people. He has an incredible memory. He is naturally charming and is difficult to discourage.

Weakness-

                        Cordelia- She does not work with her abilities often and does not like to use them. She is not the sharpest tool in the shed, not particularly dull exactly though. She second guesses herself a lot. An injury to her head is likely fatal as bleeding in her skull is not really fixable (she already nearly died falling from a tree when younger). 

                        Noel- He limits himself in motion and is far too trusting. He interacts well with others and understands them, but that does not mean he works well with them like he does with his twin.

Personality and Such-

                        Cordelia- She is apologetic, uncertain, and shy in nature, especially initially. Her social side comes only to those she is close to. She can be more of a downer due to her self-doubt. She can be easy for certain people to guilt into things. She genuinely enjoys helping people within reason as long as her patience stands out as she is frequently very impatient. She is a silent observer though not as good as her brother. She clicks better with animals at times and is very protective.

                        Noel- He is observant, bouncing between the sidelines and the center of attention. He is very social and forgiving though often harshly judges those around him in his mind. He has the patience his sister lacks. He lives for secrets and knows more about the people in their neighborhood and kids at their school than they know themselves. He is genuinely an inviting, optimistic person.

Fears-

                        Cordelia- Atychiphobia (fear of failure) because she associates failure with hurting her brother

                        Noel- Autophobia (fear of being abandoned) and Atelophobia (fear of imperfection/not being good enough)
